This past Saturday, we joined Miraal and Ali for their wedding at The Corinthian Houston, and it was every bit as grand as the building itself. Marble floors, columns lit from below, and a room full of guests dressed for the occasion in the heart of downtown Houston, TX. From the moment cocktail hour opened, it was clear this was a night made for documenting.
The Experience: Our Roamer Booth
We brought the Roamer our handheld, ring-lit roaming photo booth that goes to the guests instead of waiting on them. Instead of a line forming in one corner, our host worked the room: cocktail hour on the main floor, tables during dinner, the mezzanine as guests looked down over the grand hall, and the dance floor once the night opened up. Guests got their photos texted straight to their phones within seconds, with wedding logo was branded on each photo.

The Corinthian Houston sits at 202 Fannin Street in the Downtown Historic District, inside a neoclassical building completed in 1905 that originally opened as Houston’s First National Bank. The colonnade of towering Corinthian columns forms an aisle more than 125 feet long, with a sweeping double staircase and an upper mezzanine overlooking the grand hall. It’s one of the most striking wedding venues in Houston walking distance from the Theatre District and built entirely for grand entrances.
Moments From the Night
A few we’re still thinking about: the bridal party crowding onto the staircase landing for one shot that turned into eleven. The groom’s uncle who found us at three separate points in the night and got progressively more committed each time. And the moment we walked the Roamer up to the mezzanine and caught the whole reception in the frame behind a couple who had no idea the shot was going to look like that.
